Default Key Fob Question

Greetings fellow Corvette owners.

I recently purchased a 2000 Torch Red Coupe, but no key fobs were included. I have an extra fob from my wife's 2000 Chevy Blazer, and I'm wondering if it can be programmed to work on the 'Vette. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Rick

First off let me say Welcome to the forum!
And second congratulations on your acquisition of a corvette!
And last but not least the 2000 chevy blazer remote will not work on the vette.
Keep in mind if you buy a used one make sure it's for a 2000 vette. That is the only year it will work for. The remotes run 97-99, 00, & 01-04.
If you purchased it from a dealer and you ask them real nice thay might just find one in a desk drawer and let you have it.

You might say that I've come over from the darkside as my 2000 replaces my '87 Porsche 928S4... No Porsche bashing please!

Hey the 928S4 is a great car... It's not a 2000 Corvette, but anyone who's ever owned or driven one can appreciate what a great car it is.

Welcome to Forum... you're gonna love your 2000... just in different ways...

I have a pair of fobs for the 2000 which I will sell for what I paid which was 9.95 each plus shipping. They come with the programming directions or I can help with the programming of the fobs. They are new and have new batteries. Let me know.
