Help with code C1226 & B0516
Hey guys,
I need a little help with these two codes. I looked them up: C1226 - Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit, B0516 - Speedometer Signal Circuit Malfunction. I've owned the car (2001) for about a year and they just started to appear. They trip just after I start the car and before I start to move (6-speed). The idiot lights on the dash for both traction control, Active handling and ABS illuminate. Also, the DIC says to service ABS, Active Handling and Traction control. I have cleared them but they seem to occur more frequently. Also, if I shut off the car and restart the idiot lights on the dash (for traction control / active handling) go out.
Any help someone coud provide to track down this gremlin would be appreciated.

Very Interesting!
My '99 six speed has done the same with code C1226 twice, and last time was just last week!
It shows as the front right sensor. Both times I got that, I fired up and started moving quickly, both times it cleared all the warnings after I shut it off and re-started it. I bet its some kind of software bug!
I have never gotten B0516 though... must be some code they added after my '99..
