The G-Tech Pro or the Passport G-Timer any good? Are they worth the money? Thanks

Car & Driver magazine tested all of them a couple of months ago. Try to get the copy from your library, or perhaps they have the report on the magazine's website now.

The G-tech pro is an excellent tool for determining the results of your mods when it is not convenient to take your car to the track. I measured 4 tenths of a second gain after adding my Vararam. The true measure of actual times and performance should be done at the track and the dyno but the g-tech is supposed to be accurate to with 1/100 of a second. It will graph your shift points and help you determine what RPM level is best to shift at. It has many useful features that you can enjoy with your friends. I would split the cost with them because you will only need the G-tech on occassion after you make your modifications.
