Default AFR 225's without needing a tune?

Do you need a tune for just installing the AFR 225's or will your car learn to live with it. Granted a tune would squeeze some more power out of it, but I feel like wrenching on my car and don't feel like brining it in for a tune without installing my as-to-be-announced cam.

Assuming you wouldn't be using AFR-225s on less that a bigger than stock displacement motor (at least a 383), you've probably already had some sort of stage 3 heads on them. If the car has already been tuned for that setup, you could probably get by without a tune. Otherwise, I think a new tune would be the way to go.

Not an expert, just my $.02... Good Luck!

Nope. Stock displacment, stock heads. I want 225's because I know I'm dumba and will step up late to a bored/stroked engine.

You'd be better off spending $400 on a cam then $3,000 on heads.

I really don't see the point in big dollar heads for a stock CI NA car. JMHO
