What is a average install price for a rear diff swap from 2.73 to a 3.42. With tunning for the new gear ratio. Thanks

About $450, or where I'm from a case of beer and a pack of smokes.
If you are going to do it, go with 3.73 or 4.11's...All MN6's have 3.42's... If your going to spent the $, then hit it a little harder...

I would recommend a brand new Z06 3.42 rear and that would be $1,595 including computer programming.

It really depends on where you're at and how many speed shops are in your area. In Houston, I paid $450 for gears, torque converter and tuning.

correct, its a brand new Z06 part number whole carrier and you can keep your original carrier if you ever want to return to stock.

Chris , installed my 3:42, great mod. I would recommend you get Chris at ECS to do the install. Great shop, Dougs a nice guy,Chris ,so so. Just kidding , thier shop does a ton of these. You will like the difference, god luck Jim.
