Display for AC/outside temp stays dark..

Display for AC/outside temp stays dark..
I've had issues with it for a while.. The Climate control works but the display stays dark.. Initially, the display would display all the information, but during the last couple of months, it got darker and darker.. and now it's completely dark... All the other displays work fine (including radio etc.)
Does anybody know how to fix that issue?
BTW - the car is a '98 Vert..

SALE PRICE $1.71/sq ft...with a Retail Price of $4 per sq ft...
