Headlight Problem, Need Some Help
I drove my car into the gararge and went to turn the lights off and turned it one click back and the head lights turned off. I turned the light switch to off and both lights went down and the drivers side made a wierd noise and would not stop until I turned the lights back on. It sounded like the motor was turning and seemed like it was trying to close the light even though it was close.
Both headlights pop up when you turn them on. When you turn the lights one click back the head lights stay up but they are off (like they should) and the parking lights are on. At this point everything seems fine until you click the lights off. The lights go down and drivers side looks and sounds like it keeps going.
So I unpluged the drivers side head light so I could turn off the lights.
Any ideas? Are the gears that lift the lights up and down messed up? Is there some sort of linkage that might be also messed up? Is there something wrong with the motor?
