Those old AC's have been replaced by AC 41-985's. They come pre-gapped at .040 and should not be regapped.

However, when I bought the 41-985s, I checked the gap on all of them before I paid. they were "dead-on". They work great! BTW: they are iridium plugs.

Let me chime in with confirmation that the gap on the AC Delco Iridiums should not be changed. I made the mistake of gapping mine to the specifications in my owner's manual (.060) which is correct for the original dbl platinum factory plugs (AC Delco 41-952). After installing the new Iridiums along with new MSD Super 8.5mm wires, I had EMI on a couple of my FM radio channels. Thought the new wires were bad. Then I read on AC Delco's web site that the gap on the Iridiums are set at .040 and "should not be changed". So I pulled out all the plugs and fixed to the proper gap. No more EMI. Imagine that! I Learned a lesson here.
