Default Any one done this before?

I finally found my vette after months and months of looking. This is the problem. The car is missing two options memory seats wich I can deal with and HUD wich I really dont want to give up. I would like to know how much and if I can put the factory HUD in a non HUD car. I know there are other hud's on the market but I would like the factory look. Hopefully someone has done this before either theirselves or by dealer. Whats involved or how much to get it done.

Thanks
John

You can install the factory HUD in Vette that doesn't have it. I believe it is relatively inexpensive and should plug and play (> $400). I may be wrong but unless you purchase a precut dash you will have to cut it in order to install the HUD. I'm sure there are some DIY write ups on this install.

Before I purchased my vette I drove a FRC w/o HUD & sport-memory seats. I'm glad I waited...

Thanks for the links. It doesn't look too bad at all. I think I may do this one on my own.

Thanks Again

Default It's easy!

It's very easy. Just take your time and follow the instructions.

Remove the A/Cond duct when you trin the dash. Otherwise you don't have a straight when you cut the dash.
