Default Roof panel storage question

Has anyone had their roof panel (when in back in it's storage position) had it feel loose and rattle? I can't seem to find any adjustments for it (the hold down pins or the feet on the floor) in the service manuel and wondering if anyone has adjusted theirs. It seems loose enough when it is stored back there that it maybe would not hold in the event of an accident and it does rattle. The roof is fine though when installed with no rattles or leaks. Thanks

Once roof is in position, there are 2 L shaped levers that you release, one on each side at the very back of the trunk area that move forward and lock the roof down.

You are correct, it has been noted here of a person who lost control and the roof came forward and hit him in the head.

PM me if you still have questions

I have noticed that once you rotate the windshield frame levers that the top seems to secure 2 ways. One is lower down toward the latches in the storage compartmnt. I have found that if you lift up a little then secure it with the little latches it does not rattle. That actually leave about 1//4" of space between the roof panel and the trunk carpeted panel which works really well if you have a cover. It allows me to put the cover on once secured as oposed to having to lift with one hand and try and put the cover on with the other. It also takes that extra space up.
