Ok, don't laugh too hard. I just bought my first Corvette, a real nice 1999 C5, but it didn't come with an owner's manual so I'm hoping someone out there can help me out with a really dumb question. I see C5's out on the road with amber running lights on, but I can't figure out how to turn them on. I know the bulbs are good because if I turn the headlight switch halfway, they come on, but so do the taillights. I went though the electronic options menu on the dash and turned on the "front approach" but nothing happens. Does everyone else just turn the headlight switch halfway or is there a button or switch or setting that I haven't found yet? Or maybe I replace the white fog light bulbs with amber bulbs and have that switched on?? I'm not even really sure which light I'm seeing lit up on the other cars. Thanks!

front approach is what you see when you hit your button on your key fob it turns on the lights....anyway I bet if you look at this... https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...=273&TopicID=1 your problem will be solved
Check to see if the previous owner may have pulled fuse #2 in your underhood fuse box next to the battery. If so, replace it and they should come back on when you start the car and release the parking brake without turning the headlight stalk switch on. They are on by default fromthe factory without having to have the parking or headlights on.
