Phil,
You can search for a thread over on LS1TECH titled "Yank wants to know." Fairly deep into that thread you will see where I asked about putting a trans brake on an A4. (it sounds like that's what you are looking for.)

Both Yank and FLP replied to my question. Both of them agreed that the 4L60-e does not have enough case strength to handle a trans brake. Both companies discouraged me from doing it.

For those that don't know, a trans brake engauges 1st and reverse at the same time. You then stall up the converter and when ready to launch you release reverse. It's used to drag race.

Since the 4L65-e A4 in the C6 is the same case as the 4L60-e I would assume it will not work with the 4L65-e either.

Ah yes, quite different. Mine is set to lock at wide open throttle at a specific MPH when in a specific gear.

I think Phil is looking for a hardware solution rather than the software/PCM one I would also be interested in this.

I have been looking for this info too. Can't find a striaght answer. In the manual i believe pin 31 or something like that in the second pcm harness is called TCC. I have not heard if this is the right pin to ground or not.

I would also be interested in the method used to lock the TCC at WOT if any one knows the steps through LS1edit or HP software.
