If that is the problem, then it's easy and cheap to replace. You can reach it either from the top by the passenger headlight or from underneath right next to the radiator opening in the front fascia near the black frame bar the protects the front fascia.

Locate Radiator shroud, on the pasenger side of the shroud reach down towards the front of it you will feel a clip sorta like a push pin for a bumper. gentle pull it out and towards the passenger fender because the probe for the sensor is exposed. very easy to replace and install. sorry i dont have pictures to help you out. The only reason i found it was because i had to remove the shroud(which you could also do, but will take much longer)

Check your codes. It might give you more information :

B0332 Outside Air Temp Sensor Short to GND
B0333 Outside Air Temp Sensor Open

Also, you have to meet these requirements (from the manual) :

If the ouside temperature goes up, the displayed temperature will not change until :

A. The vehicles speed is above 20 mph for one and a half minutes

B. The vehicles speed is about 45 mph for one minute.

If you went 20 mph for 89 seconds, and had to stop at a light the outside temp won't update.

Similarly, if you went 100 mph for 59 seconds and stopped, the temp also won't update.

Is there any way to adjust the displayed temp? My outside temp display always is about 4-5 degrees high when above 95 and a little less below 95. I've tried insultating the sensor with some dense foam rubber but this only makes it more jumpy. Rather than a gradual 1 degree change, it will wait longer and jump 2-3 degrees.
