I've never done this, so I'm repeating whats in the service manual.

Draining Procedure:
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Clean any dirt from around the differential
3. Remove the drain plug and washer from the differential.
4. Drain the fluid.
The drain plug is on the bottom of the differential towards one side.

Filling Procedure:
1. Install the drain plug and washer to the differential. Tighten to 26lb ft or 35N-m
2. Clean any dirt from around the differential fill plug.
3. Remove the fill plug, lubricant tag, and washer from the differential.
4. Fill the differential with fluid:
Fill with synthetic axle lubricant, GM part# 1237826. Add approx 118ml (4oz) limited slip differential lubricant additive, GM Part# 1052358
5. Check the fluid level to ensure it is even with the bottom of the fill plug hole to no lower than 6mm (0.25in) below the opening.
6. Install the fill plug, lubricant tag, and washer to the differential. Tighten the fill plug to 26lb ft or 35N-m.
7. Lower the vehicle.

The fill plug is on the side of the differential and kinda looks like a torx bolt from the picture.

This is from the 04 FSM.

Good Luck,
jeff

Get yourself a fluid pump from the parts store when you buy the fluid/additive (should take less than 2 quarts).

Here are a couple of pics of the fill and drain plugs. You'll need a hex allen - 1/4" maybe.
