It's a ride for you. Unfortunate, you don't have a lot of LS1 specialty shops near your area.

There is one shop but I dont trust them from the looks of things. I was a stang guy and have converted to vettes and will never go back. I have a 88 with over 25k into that I only want 10k just to get rid of it. I need to talk to people to plan out exactly how I'm gonna do this car. I want it to really haul but dont want it to feel like a POS. I'd like to do full bolt ons and a kenne belle kit when it's available. What should I do? I was thinking full exhaust, heads/cam, intake and that stuff. Then what and what is the best combo? I need help!!

I would go with full exhaust. Then go onto the heads/cam. Then the intake. You'll get bitten by the mod bug and want more and more. So most customers will put things on little by little, of course you could end up wasting more money in retunes and overlap labor.

Man that's some power for an A4 Camaro considering my heads/cam package with other goodies tops out at a measly 405 RWHP

Ya and this is through a Camaro drivetrain with 3.73s. Our Stage 3 AFR's aren't too far off from hitting this car.

Hey Matt!

All I can say is thanks for your professionalism and service on the cam only you had installed on my 01 Z06.

I went with the 224/224 114lsa cam only and dam if it hasn't made the 400 rwhp you guys stated it would. Cars ultra reliable and I've been driving it more and more as an everday driver since I had this package installed.

If I remember correctly....my added maintaince costs are $300 dollars every 20k or 25K miles for swapping out the dual valve springs. Not too shabby for Ferrari killing performance. I always laugh at the thought of their maintaince costs versus what this cam only 400 RWHP mod cost me.

Overall and without a doubt!

Very civilized ...very smooth..passes emissions testing ....lots of HP throughout the rev band and just flat out more fun to drive! I've been racking up the miles as I'm up around 18K miles since the install and its been great! GM should have made the car this way from the factory.

Do me a favor and say hello to George for me! Guys, George the head tech over there is amazing. An attention to detail that exceeds your expectations. Impressed the hell out of me thats for sure.

Thanks again.

Jerri

If you were to take the above package and match it to new heads, what heads would you suggest? What would the ballpark HP be and how much? Im looking into this as we speak and those number are impressive. I have an 01 LS1 with just bolt ons now (breathless vortex, TPIS LT's and Corsa Catback. I will drive it from Toronto to you for instalation. How long of a wait would I have to get started and how long does it take to do a complete job? Very interested in your reply.

Dyno numbers aren't the most precise method to gauge how much power a car is making, especially with A4's. One dyno can be 10rwhp higher or lower than another, everything else being equal.

Besides the obvious paracitic loss difference between the A4 and MN6(12), the size of the stall, what brand, series, and physical size of the converter, what kind of rear end and gear ratio, what parts were used during a hipo trans rebuild, these are all factor that can alter dyno numbers.

Do you know if your converter was locked when the pull was done? This is a big factor in what numbers you put down. I put down a whopping 388rwhp/410rwtq and ran 11.11 @ 121. Then with a upgraded converter and rear I dynoed 368rwhp at a different shop.

I'm not trying to take anything away from TTP here at all, I just like to make sure people are educated! Congrats on the impressive #'s and great job with Pete's car over the weekend!
