Default Lower my ride question

I just got my car back with new Z06 springs and sways. I asked the shop to lower it an inch all the way around before they realigned it.

It looks like she sits higher than before....
I have 1.75" between fender lip and top of front wheel.
The back is 3.5" between fender lip and top of wheel.

They said they lowered it as far as it could go, but 3.5" of space?!
I know it may settle some, but it looks goofy now in the rear.

Any chance they raised it by mistake? Look under the rear and see how many threads are showing on the bolt. Actually if it's a bunch they went the wrong way.

Dead-on. Remember the front ride height adjustment bolts are reverse threaded. The rear are easily inspected. Also, springs may need to settle a bit. Drive through some hilly areas and see if can work the suspension down.

I just looked under the rear springs. I only see the bolt head. I look farther up, on top of the spring and I see almost 2" of thread above.

I'll shoot a pic and post it in a few min. I'm puzzled still.
Thanks for all the input so far.

When mine was lowered I cut the bushings and had 3 threads showing.

I don't think there are 2 inches of thread on that bolt so I'd love to see a pic?

Whatever shop that was should never have a vette in for anything again!!! Good GOD man!! I had a hard time imagining it too, but that first picture you had of the rear wheel....you don't have to worry about any clearance problems!!!

Sounds like they owe you another alignment after you get it lowered the RIGHT way!! Good luck, send pics when you finally bring it down from the stratosphere!

Thanks again for the sanity check... I'm glad that was the problem. I don't mind problems, I mind not knowing what the hell the problem is!

Maybe the guy just left the produce dept at wally world the week before. If you have a low profile jack and some jack stands it is very easy to lower yourself. I lowered mine on stock bolts and am about as mechanical as I am being a brain surgeon. Very easy. Hope they give you a good alignment.

I think that's what I'm gonna do if the shop doesn't make time to correct my problem quickly enough.
I'm not sure I want them touching it again..

Besides, I doubt I'll need a low profile jackstand! Did you see the pics?!
Holy chit, I think I could drive the nose of my Cobalt under the rear of her now!
