Default z06 Rear View Mirror

Brought my z in for a new windshield...and now the lights under the rear view mirror dont work...and the green light that was on, is no longer working??? Any suggestions...I checked the fuses and all appears to be okay???

Sounds like they unplugged it and didn't reconnect it.

Hopefully your shop did a better job in installing the new windshield than mine did on mine. A friend and I had to do and redo the plastic trim and window track 20-30 times to get it to the point no water appeared to be getting in. They used the black caulking and GM does not use any with the trim and stripping track, it is all weather stripping that compresses.

Default rear view mirror

I have tried unplugging the wire harness attached to the rear view...but cannot....underneath the rear view mirror there is a yellow light at the centre...thats the only thing that works....I tried unplugging the harness with no luck...and even removing the mirror....still no luck??????????? any ideas.????

The yellow light is to light up your shifter. Theres a button you need to press to turn the green light on to activate the auto dim feature. As for the lights not working maybe both bulbs were damged when they were handling the mirror and removing it. I dunno.
