I was needing info on lowering my 98 with a set of lowering bolts,I have never did this and I wonder if it is safe and easy to do? Any input would be great Thanks.
Thanks for a terrific link
I am taking mine in to get lowered properly (after an initial botched attempt by the local wrench gang)
This article kinda says it all, short and sweet!

A cheap lesson learned. Some folks spend thousands$$$ and realize they wasted time and money.
I typically research this and a couple other forums thoroughly before buying anything.
I also realized the importance of outlining your goals first and foremost.

the bolts you bought were to lower the rear more than the aproximate 1" alowed with stock bolts, to make the correct rake if you cut bushings up front or remove the adjusting bolts all together.. Not exactly a waste but I bought mine localy for $8.. there are threads discussing what size bolts to use.
