For pads, stick with GM pads. They produce brake dust, but keep your rotors shining.
As far as rotors go, sportbrakes are the most affordable for the looks. They are drilled and slotted and zinc coated (the zinc coating is important because it will prevent them from rusting.

If you want to spend more, look at baer rotors. I have the one piece and love them but they cost 500 bucks. The 2 pc baers will cost 800 bucks. IMHO, the baers are the best looking, but you will pay for it.
there are many choices in rotors. I selected GM perf. parts drilled and slotted rotors, and GM ceramic pads from GM Parts Direct. Great prices and I am happy with performance and looks. The rotors are pure cast iron, so I sprayed high temp clear on hub areas to prevent rust. Should have done this before installation, thou, would have been much easier.
We had Baer Eradispeeed drilled and slotted rotors fitted to the pace car about 2 years ago (mind you in England they cost around $2000 fitted) and kept with stock pads. The pads seem to last longer and the brakes are really good!
