installing shift light looking for tach wire
installing a shift light on a 98 a4 since i run it thru the gears rather than putting it in drive 3 and punching it im installing a shift light any help would be great .

And if you have a HUD, it already has a "SHIFT" indicator in it. I have a 01 A4 and the HUD and when I run through the gears (all the time) my SHIFT light comes on.Hope this helps.
