Header install gasket question
What's the general consensus of which exhaust gasket to use for header installations? Chevy OEM? Is there a difference between LS1 and LS6 gaskets, like D-port or O-port?
I have SuperMaxx LT headers and they come with a gasket set supplied by Dynatech, but I was just wondering if using OEM or Felpro, etc. is a better choice.

First of all, I have not found any of the gaskets that are supplied with the headers worth a dime. Most will leak and not last very long.You want to use the LS-1 gaskets, but if you have only the LS-6 D port gaskets on hand, then you will need to "match" the gaskets. The headers tubes are round, so just use the LS-1 gaskets.
