Default Bad MAF Sensor?

Well, a BAD MAF sensor is the only thing I can think of.

My engine started to sputter around 3200 rpm. It was close to my house so i was able to make it home but she was shaky. Right now very rough idle and I dont dare take her anywhere.

Last time i had something like this was when my air box popped off from too much boost but thats not the problem now as she is riveted in and in for good.

Seems like it may be simple but it could be 100 things that can cause it.
Other than a BAD MAF sensor, anything else?

Also, is the Sensor a little 2" x 3" box that's connectted to the MAF? Would the MAF sensor throw a code?

PCM 0420 and 0430 but these are very old H Codes related to the cats but the cats look pretty clean.

So no new codes. Will an O2 sensor generate a code? Could be injectors or Fule pump but like I said, ould be 100 higs.

Looks like this will have to wait to Monday or later with a trip over to Rogers shop at HP Sales. I hope she makes it there whenever I go.

Well, i'm brining my scanning and <tuning> software down...so, if you like i can come down and scan it for you after lunch...both those codes u said i believe are O2 codes...you're probably just running rich due to a few possible things and throwing codes cause youre way out of wack..

Hey Chris,

Sure, I run rich because LPE tuned it that way 3 years ago but the 420 and 430 codes didnt pop up until a yr after the LPE Stage II install. The codes themselves are about a yr ol. They suggest bad cats but we looked through the cats and they looked good.

Anyway, if you are going to be in my area you can swing by but I am about 1 hr away from Jupiter and thats kinda far.

My cell is 954-263-8088

Hey mark, my day ended quickyl this morning on the back of a flat bed...I won't be making it down. I was suggesting rich...as in maybe an exhaust leak and a bad 02 sensor reading...not a safe amount of rich.

OH man, chris, your the 3rd guy that got fuked on this great cruise! Murphy is at as his best, huh?

I think I found my problem or something related to it. I think it may be the Walbro Fuel pump or something that has gone wrong with it. In wanting to know about this possiiblity, I just started a separate thread about the pump.

What the hell happened to yours?
