BW1,
Thank you, are all those the same for our vette, it says CADILLAC
I went on a long road trip and the fuel gauge was acting up,
It showed "NO" fuel after a fill-up, The only time the gauge has ever given me any problems is on both trips to A&A about 700 miles round trip. I think I need to drop the tank and check the connectors on the sending unit
You're welcome Mike, and yes, they are the same. OBD-II is OBD-II - the code would have same meaning in a Mopar.
BTW, I noticed the second poster in that thread link you provided had the same problem on the way to Andy's (you had it on the way back).

It's weird , I went to the A&A GTG a couple of months ago and had a fuel gauge problem 1st time ever, and then yesterday going to A&A to pick up a buddies car I have the same issues again, only going to A&A
P.S. Maybe my car doesn't like southern California
Watch your gas closely.....stations like shell & bp have additives that make the fuel gauge die. I've been lucky so far, but have had other Corvettes and other GM model owners complain of the same problem. The "H" on the end of the code stands for history.....problem occurred & was solved by pcm...FYI.
Alway's shut off your car before filling up, i don't know why but the gauge always starts at full when the car is off during fill up, with it running it seems to take forever to read full.

I did use shell that day!
I try to use Chevron, but on that road trip I used everybodies super unleaded

What's the additive in Shell's gas that makes the fuel gage die?
What's the additive in Shell's gas that makes the fuel gage die?
I think it's the way Shell refines(less sulpher) that makes it less corrosive to the in tank sending unit.
So it's whats not in Shell rather than what is.
Thers a couple topics and opinions about fuel brands try searching and you will be overwhelmed
It was rumored that the California gas additive MTBE would attack plastic auto parts, don't know if that is what you are talking about.
Good ole Republik of California! Get clean air with MTBE insist that it be a standard and then after a few years find out that when it's by- products get into the water supply it is a deadly poison. And then they contracted with a firm and pay big bucks to make them the sole source of the MTBE.
