Not sure where to post this. But with all the geniuses that own C5s, I figured this would be as good as any place.
About 15 of us are doing a Sequoia run tomorrow morning, Sunday. This evening, I got a road hazard slit in my back tire. Slit is on bottom, not on side walls. Run Flats. It's my wife's 2001 Vert. No one around to fix or replace.
It took two plugs to stop the leak. Is this safe? We'll be going about 200 miles tomorrow. Of course, I'm going to replace the tire when I get back.

Thanks.
...just take a plug kit with you, as well as a compressor.

Two plugs have never worked for me,, they almost always give a problem. For a temp fix at low speed to get home,, ok,, but otherwise,, I would replace the tire. 99 Nassau blue
If it is holding air and you are doing normal driving I would also just take along a cell phone and a plug kit, compressor. It is a runflat so if you have to you can drive on it. No high speeds.
Take your EMT to Goodyear Dealer. See if tire can be patched. Goodyear has a EMT training program that includes repair. Plugs do not keep air from entering body plies and causing separations. Best of luck.
