Cabin get's REALLY hot when.....
The cars cabin got hot for the first noticeable time last night at the 11th street drag. The weather was pretty darn warm to start. The traffic was going a slight 5 mph at it's fastest, it was packed. I did a rev here and there... maybe a few times. I didn't think that would send my trans, oil, and one other fluid to be around 230 F each! I mean.... I've never seen it that high before. Am I working my way to frying something with it that hot?

If I've got my air on, it's hotter than hades outside and I'm in slow traffic or idle, it will occasionally go to 230. I wouldn't worry too much about it under those circumstances.

Vettes don't like slow, They need airflow to stay cool. Did a trip out west in the mountains doing 15 to 20 mph and you could watch the temp. rise across the board. I started to freak. Speeded up and the temps. dropped. After a while I just kept a not so close eye on it and all was well. Just a combination of slow driving and thin mountain air. I don't think you have a problem.
