Default SuperMAXX Exhaust?

I am thinking about getting the SuperMAXX header and strait Exhaust kit. It looks good with no weilding, so I don't have to pay anybody to install. But is it a good system? Anybody have this kit? Any pros, cons to this system?[IMG][/IMG]

I have this system and I like it. I paid someone to install mine though. I've got the headers going through B&B PRT exhaust and it screams when you get near 4K RPMs. I could definitely feel an increase in power after the install. I feel that it is a great system for the price.

Hey thinks murnutz, I was going to get a i/c magnacharger, but I want to but in a bunch of other mods and bolt-ons before I put in the charger and tune, that why I don't have to keep going back for a re-tune.

I have the Dynatech Supermaxx as well. They fit great, look great and really make my Magnaflow exhaust system come alive. Well worth the money.

As a suggestion, I would add a Cold Air Intake sytem to round out the mod. My preference is the Vararam. Also a Tune is a good idea as well. I know it can be expensive, but if you are going to bolt on $2,000 dollars worth of mods, you want to get the most out of it.

My setup went from 308 rwhp to 346 and rwtg from 327 up to 366 Car has run 12.8's at 110 mph and I am still learning.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out

I've yet to do a tune on mine since the headers install. I'll probably hold out until I do a cam or H&C package. Don't really have that kind of cash to drop right now though. I can't really see why it costs so much to do a tune. Is LS1 edit that expensive that vendors have to charge $500 to recoup the cost?
