Default can active handling defaults be changed?

Any way to make it default to competition mode or off all the time? Putting nitrous on the car and I'm hoping I can remember to switch off the AH.

NO, but why. Do you mean traction control. The AH will save your ***, trust me.

ATI Motorsports sells a "track memory" module. Will do the job, but it's pricey.

I have seen a module that connects and allows you to set A/H off as default.

Saw it one of the usual catalogues. I was considering this myself. It wasn't that much..less than $100 as I remember>

I was thinking of getting this. Was it easy to install? What happens when you push the console button. Does it go to AH/TC on or to both off. And if you go to both off and then want to go back to Comp Mode do you still have to hold the botton down for several seconds.

Sorry for all the question (and not trying to jack the thread...poster may want to know this as well).....but you are the first guy I know that actually uses one of these

It takes about 10 mintues and a pair of pliers that's it. on a scale of 1 to 10 it's easier than washing your car.

I have it in for almost 6 months - very good. The only thing you need to get use to is that it takes about 15 - 20 seconds to put you in comp mode - so if you just start the car and immediately put it in gear yu'll have on traction control. Status shows up on your DIC so it's not a problem.

Why spend $100 dollars rather then pushing a button for 5 seconds??
My wife drives my vert sometimes and its not like I want the AH/TC off when she is behind the wheel.

Well if a vet could tow a 20' bass boat then she would never get to drive it but until then I guess I have to suck it up.
