Corsa GTR Exhaust Tip Broke
Anyone ever seen this?
I have the Corsa Indy with the GTR tips on my C5. The other day it looks like the exhaust is all crooked and I thought someone had kicked the exhaust since I know I did not run into anything.
I check it out and find what I thought was a weld broken along the entire bottom, it was just flapping there.
No witness marks anywhere, no one kicked it, I didn't hit anything, nor did I run over anything.
I check the weld today to find out its not a weld but some kind of rubber material that is holding them together.
Anyone had this happen, pics are below on my Yahoo site under Corsa Exhaust.
Is it JB weld?
I was taking it to a local shop to ahve them weld it but it looks like its not really welded. Something is holding it on though and the break around the top if perfectly clean.
Happened on a drive home, I walked up behind the car, threw my laptop bag in the hatch and when I got home it was like that.
I was going to have it repaired but now looks like I can do it myself if I can find out what material was used to hold it together.
