Light burned out on HVAC controls...
What is involved in getting inside the HVAC controls and replacing the burnt bulb? I know there have been LED conversions done, but I couldn't find anything showing how to get in there.
Also, just so I don't break anything trying to get it apart, how do the lights in the cargo area open up? I have a bulb out back there as well.

There is a guy on eBay (I forget his name) repairs them for $50. He has over 2600 feedback @ 100%
After Carlisle, I'm sending mine to him - plus he only lives about 40 miles from me in CT
I do not want to tackle this one - I've read the horror stories.

Thanks everyone. I read the How To by SpdKilz and I am going to make a run to Radio Shack and see what they have in terms of small 12V bulbs. Should be an easy enough job to swap out one of them. While I'm in there I will have to see if maybe swapping out with LEDs is something I will want to do in the future.

If it is NOT the display, you can replace the bulbs with a soldering iron and $1.49/pack 2 Radio shack 12 volt bulbs. Or, if you have a combination of both, send it to the ebay guy.

Note how when I got to replacing them the next one in line burnt out. I replaced damn near all of them if not every one.

Yeah, I figured if one is burnt the others probably won't be too far behind. I want to try to replace one though and see how that goes before I order enough to do all of them, or the LED conversion.
