Window adjustment for 1998 Convertible. Having problem with rear corner of window rubbing on convertible top when closing, adjusted window height helped a little. Is there another adjustment that can be done?
On my 99 there is an adjustment screw under the reflector on the bottom of the door. This tilts the window, I believe clockwise, tilts it in , and vice versa. Don't know if this solves your problem, good luck, Jim.
you have to adjust the top not the window ! i did it to mine it is extremely easy..!go to the vette guru site and follow the instructions.. you might need a pair of pliesr but may not need tools at all. the top has an adjustment screw that you can easily turn by hand and correct the problem. if you send me your email i'll send you the file with photos i don't know how to put it in here.

It's the window tip-in that needs adjustment.
I read on here about the top adjustment and went to two different Corvette performance centers. Both advised NOT to touch the top adjustments. I then took it to my dealer. The Corvette guy Herb did the window tip-in adjustment mentioned above and the problem was quickly and cheaply solved.
