Default I have some codes and driveability issues

Just yesterday I started to get codes P0113 and P1111 and my idle has dropped down around 600 and the car seems to be held back or hesitant not to mention around 4700+ RPM i'm getting a really bad ping/knock. Any particular reason i'm having these issues? I have a GHL catback and Blackwing. No tune as far as I know.THanks!

Default

P0113 Intake Air Temp (IAT) Sensor Circuit High Voltage
P1111 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Voltage

The links take you to troubleshooting info for the particular codes. As you can see, both codes relate to the IAT sensor. The t/s directions are for a '97. Later models relocated the IAT sensor (from what is described in the directions) to the MAF, but the information is the same. It may be something as simple as a loose/dirty connector or a chafed wire.

BTW, a P0113 code (solid or "hard" failure) always sets a P1111 (intermittent) as well. If you cure one you'll cure them both. GL!
