m6 to a4 swap
I need to know all that is required for the m6 to a4 swap. i have a ls6 in the car right now and i am looking to put an a4 in it. The car is a 97 and the pcm has been flashed for the ls6.. If i use a pcm from an A4 car will i have to reflash it for a ls6 motor.. If anyone has a link or pics and instructions on how to do that would be great..thanks..

You don't need another PCM you just need to have the one you got flashed with the proper program and anyone with LS-1 edit or HPtuner software and extra files can do this for you.

I just did the A4 to M6 swap and have all the A4 parts:
trans, torque converter, pedal assembly, torque tube, wiring harnesses, and shifter. Also have a 3.15 rear diff (doubt you'll need that). My coupe had 11K miles when I made the swap - no issues, excellent condition.
