Default Spec 5 break in time

Spec doesnt state any break in time for their stg 5 clutch. I know it is a straight race clutch but I would have to imagine there being a break in period. Anyone got any info or experience for this. Car will be done tomorrow, so need to know what to do.

Even though its straight out race clutch, I would still take it easy and no 5k drops or anything like that for atleast 350 miles. Hope you did the new master and slave at the time of clutch as well

Some say the typical 500 miles, some say none, depends on who you ask I guess. I gave mine a couple of hundred and have been beating the living crap out of it ever since with no slipping or problems what so ever.
Ditto on the McLeod master and a new slave. I learned the hard way by not replacing those when I initially did the clutch.

I would say 350+ miles to break it in. It might not say it, but it really can't hurt to take it easy for that amount of time.

From what I remember from my F-body days, the general idea was to run it easy for 500 miles and then launch it one hard time.
