torque tube squeal
my car has developed a strange metallic squeal from the torque tube.
symptoms:
occur above 4000 rpms
always above 4k no matter what gear
while in gear run to anything above 4k=squeal/screech,
depress clutch squeal continues,
shift to higher gear screach stops.
depress clutch rev to 4k+ and hold...nothing.
it sounds like the torque tube is rubbing against something or bending and rubbing.
any ideas??
