Default I'm 99.99% done....

Well, the C5 has been an awesome car to build and drive on somewhat of a daily basis. We've had the car through a few different stages and learned more information than I can remember about making combos work on these cars. My final project is one last bullet. My shortblock is in good shape but its gonna get pulled so I can freshed it up for a local customer. My new motor is pretty tame, its gonne be built on an LS6 block with dome pistons, high compression, more nitrous than you can ever need, and some aggressive heads. Once the new bullet/nitrous is finished, I'm done with the car and starting on the next project......

I have been toying with the idea of building a real street car for most of this year and we have finally found a car. It has 120k miles, straight body, one owner, super clean. Here's what were going to do.....

Donor Car: 1999 Mustang - v6 auto - dark blue -120k
Engine: 400+ CID 100+mm turbo
Standalone Computer
RWHP goal: 1500+
Street Driven: Yes
Tranny: something crazy
Track Goal: >8.20 @ 170+

I want to be able to cruise to the track, possibly fuel up and make low 8 second passes and than drive back home....

Good luck Phil, that will be one hell of a new learning curve for you thats for sure. Are you cross breeding a LS based motor into the Mustang? Or going with one of the SVO performance style blocks?

I'm not a Mustang expert, but aren't the SN95 cars quite a bit heavier than the Fox body cars? Are they getting hard to come by?

I am gonna keep the vette and with the latest additions it should run 9.5s-9.8s pretty consistent seeing its gone consistent 10.0s on a rough tuned 150 shot. We're researching blocks from Dart, world and SVO to see what has the best bang for the buck. As far as fuel goes, I have a pretty insane idea that will be a great street/strip fuel system and no one has done it yet. 75% of the stuff will be fabbed in house.
