Default Maf?

I baught a Halltech Tric form a local member (NVTHIS great guy) and its for an 01 up MAF. Im wondering will a 2003 ZO6 MAF work on my 99 coupe without any other mods or things I have to do? Will the plug work? Will it add any HP? Thanks for the info.

You can't use the '01 MAF without an harness adapter, three wire to five wire, and a table modification to your PCM.

Your '99 MAF is fine, just modify the OD of the MAF (use adpators or different hoses) that will allows everything to tighten up.

Also, you'll have to remove the IAT sensor from the factory air bridge, move and relocate it in the Halltech bridge.

Thanks man. I used some rubber piping to make it fit. I guess I could buy an upgraded MAF, if they make them, not sure about that. Thanks alot for your help!

Upgrading your MAF will be difficult requiring a tune and will not gain you any performance. If I were you I would drop back and do whatever it takes to keep your 97-2000 style MAF.
