stock differential strength
I am preparing to aquire an 02-04 C5 and do a heads/cam. Will likely end up in the 420-440 rwhp range and will not be hard launching at the drags. Is a rearend upgrade a must at these power levels?

BLACKTOP2000 has been running 433 rwhp on a LUK clutch and Fidanza flywheel with stock rear end for over a year with no problems. And he does do some 'spirited' driving. His rear end is fine. It's all about how you drive it. I will say that he is planning on putting in gears and an output shaft as a precaution soon.

If you plan to regularly visit the drag then I would suggest the hardened output shaft and the DTE brace.
