C6 shift **** question....

Will the C6 shift **** fit onto a C5 Ripper? Also, is the **** substantially harder then the C5 ****, or would that not be a good reason to change it?

I have it on my b&m I had to customize it to make it fit. the C6 **** isn't a twist in like the C5s so its not a direct bolt on. I love it its not as soft as the C5 **** but I hate the looks of the C5 one.

I have it on my Hurst. Bought it off ebay already pre-threaded. I love the look and the feel of it.

Is that all it needs, to have threads tapped into it?

I just bought a c6 shift ****. What do I have to do to get it on my b&m ripper shifter. Looks like I have to shave the front of the threads on the shifter and drill a hole on the side.
