ccw drag fitment problems

Default ccw drag fitment problems

i put on my ccw skinnies and they look awesome. we ground the ball joint cap in the rear and bolted them on but the drivers side rear tire still hits very slightly. i dont know how miuch more i could file down.will filing too much cause something to get broken or other damage??i thought someone said you cant file down the ball joint cap too much and i dont wanna do anymore before i cause damage.please help i dont not want to get rid of these wheels

You are putting these on a C5 right? Then they will fit, they are made for the C5 with the tapping or grinding the top of the ball joint slightly. Did you look at the picture on John's site?

did that still rubs slightly just enough to hear it. anyone have the number for the guy at ccw??/ also what would happen if i ground or dimpled it to much???

Is it hitting on the balljoint or is it maybe hitting the leafspring because the car has been lowered too much? A few taps of the hammer cleared the balljoint for me. On slammed cars, I could see how the leafspring might hit.
