gears in my 98?
Hi all 
one quick question:
how can i tell what type of gears do i have in my 98, A4 coupe?
are there any codes somewhere in the car/

Look at the under side of the passenger side storage compartment lid in the rear of your car. If you see G92 you have 3.15 gears, if you don't see G92 you have 2.73 gears. Or you can put your car in 3rd and drive at a steady 75 MPH if your RPM is at 3150 RPM you have 3.15s if you have 2730 RPM you have 2.73 gears.
