What does the sensor that plugs into a 98 coupler do? I broke only the plastic outer cage part that goes over the sensor. But not the sensor itself. Would this cause any problems?
I have had decel problems since I installed a blackwing. Actually I believe it started after I changed from the aftermarket bridge back to the stock bridge. I have disassembled twice now to try to fix any air leaks but everything seems tight and secure so I don't know what the problem is. The problem seems the least noticeable since I went back to the stock coupler which after I went back to the stock air bridge used a tapered silicone coupler and now the stock.

Any thoughts?
Everything will work fine without the plastic cage. If you had damaged
the thermistor (sensor) you would have set a code.
