Im looking to paint my calipers blue, preferably like an electron or royal blue. I was looking at some duplicolor brush on caliper paint, but it appeared kinda light to me. Any other paint options without spraying?
I just did the brushed caliper painting last week. I will NEVER do it again. It was the biggest pain in the a$$ I have probably ever delt with. I would definately spray it next time.
contact mqqn; he did his with good results, He has a website/ link which will answer your questions ( you don't have to remove your brake line and you can do the job with minimal masking).
I did mine years ago with bruch-on Folia Tec. It wasn't bad and looks great. It is only beginning to show wear after 2 brake rebuilds and lots of track time.

I have done 3 cars with the brush on method with great success.
On my car I did the front calipers one day and the back the next. I removed the tires, but did not remove the calipers.
For both I waited for them to dry over night and then used a razor blade plus emory board to remove the paint from the letters.
No chance of over spray. All you need extra are the brushes. I used 1 brush the first day for the fronts and then another brush the 2nd day for the rears.
