I had been told that there is a rubber tube that is about 1 foot rearward of the battery. It has a couple of 90 degree bends in it. I was able to pull it off after removing the battery. The thing is, I don't know for SURE that this is the correct tube. It does seem to be in the area where the condenser for the HVAC might be. The lesser news is that I understand that the earlier C5's had a thinner tube which was more prone to clogging. Mine is a '99. The tube had a slot on the lower end instead of being wide open. I found a small piece of black plastic and a large bug in mine. I'll jack it up and look again to be sure I got the correct tube.
good luck,
Dan

The one that seems to cause most of the problem from clogging up is on the firewall. It's about 1" in dia. and makes a 90 degree bend at the firewall and points downward. It's on the pass. side roughly behind the cylinder head but a little lower down. I can barely get a finger on it from the top, mainly due to the large wire harness that passes near it. From underneath it is much easier to get to. Some guys remove it and cut a little larger hole in the end. HTH
