Default The new bullet is coming....

Well after alot of researching and phone calls the parts for the new motor are on their way. I debated and debated about which parts to use to make this build truely a eye opener. I've gotten alot of help from a couple of the vendors on this site that has really made this an easy experience. Here's what we're going to build and I'll probably make a video showing the steps we went through....

Shortblock:
LS6 Block Bored 3.905
Line Honed
ARP studs top, bottom, and rods
Katech Main caps
Clevite moly coated rod and main bearings
Scat 6.125" H Beam rods
Lightened LS1 Crank
Diamond custom one off pistons Coated skirts and domes
Lunati Solid Lifters

Top end:
ET Performance 225cc heads brand new castings
- Thermal Coated Exhaust valves and Moly coated springs
Comp 999 Springs
25x-26x custom solid roller .650-.700 lift
Jesel J2k Rockers
Comp Cams Pushrods
Cometic .045 3.910 gaskets
42# injectors
Fast 90mm Intake ported
NW 90mm TB

Power Adder:
Nitrous Express/ECS custom one off direct port 300 - 400 shot
ECS Standalone fuel system

Tuning:
Our custom SD tune

I am building 2 of these motors, one for my 6 speed and another for an automatic and we're hoping this will show the potiential of a nice street motor.

Considering the heads will probably be close to 300cfm @ .475" lift and almost 340 @ .650, it better make some SERIOUS HP.

Sounds like a real mean machine, Phil. So, tell us, what rwhp and torque are we looking at? BTW, you have done an awesome job on this engine project of yours. Very cool!

Update: We just switched cylinder heads...
Instead of the 225cc 11 degree heads we're moving to a set of 240cc 11 degree heads which should flow close to 350cfm @ .675 lift and about 15cfm more across the board on the bottom end. Cam lift is going to be kept around .680 on a mid 250s duration solid roller.
