trouble removing power steering bracket
I am pulling the heads off the car and I am having some trouble getting to the lowest bolt of the powersteering bracket. Any ideas? I am trying not to have to pull the water pump.

You can't actually get it off, you need to just loosen it and sort of take the bracket out with it. There may be pics on www.ls1howto.com under H/C swap.

It's worth the trouble to remove the water pump... It will give you much more access to this bolt. I will also help if you remove the P/S reservoir as well... Unless you remove the P/S pulley (not recommended) the bolt will come out with the bracket as mentioned above.
