C5 alarm question

Ever since I put a new battery in my key fob the vette has been making horn noises and locking itself in the garage(I have the passsive feature turned off). It seems certain nosies set it off...Anyone know if I can reset this somehow? Is there a sensitivity feature I can ajust?

You have to do the FOB relearn process in order for it to return to normal.

how is the relearn process done? My fobs don't work since new battery.

I'll try it......thanks...You have to go to the display options and reconfigure it...If your fob doesn't work at all u have to hold the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds...The horn will sound and it's good to go...

I found any time you replace a key fob battery, you need to go through the re-learning process. Can't remember exactly, but the owners manual steps you through it with the DIC buttons in a few minutes. Be sure to have all of the cars fob's present when you do this, if not the missing ones will no longer work.
