Hi I have a Pace Car edition exhaust on my C5 purchased from Corsa in 2000. The mufflers are starting to see corrosion. The mufflers came painted blk and the paint has flaked away. I thought with stainless (are they in fact stainless?) corrosion would not happen? Is this covered under warranty? the car is garaged and only has 20k miles on it. Never taken out in snow and rarely in rain.
Also I am seeing signs of leakage from where mufflers connect with over the axle pipes. Do you have new clamps available?

I have never seen Corsa C5 mufflers painted. Mine were installed in 01 still look great, no problems.
The inside lower corners of the mufflers have small weep holes to allow condensate to drain out. If you don't clean the mufflers from time to time you may see some discoloration in that area. Cleans right up with any stainless or chrome cleaner.

The black ones with the flaking paint are the factory ones.

You wont even need to speak to the owner. I had my passenger side can start to rattle on my 2000 C5 and I called their customer service. They honored their warranty to the hilt, they sent me not 1 but 2 new cans so they would match and a prepaid shipping label to ship the old cans back to them. Top notch company.

Corsa Indy Pace car mufflers did in fact come in Black....( Satin Black )

Ive talked to him several times...his door is always open, and he does in fact care...
I talked with Jim on the phone, sent him a few pictures of my exhaust, with flaking Black Satin Mufflers with classic tips which I bought in 2000 from LAPD, a copy of the invoice, and I had a New Corsa Indy pace car system at my house in three days... he also sent a call tag for the old exhaust system... You can Not beat Corsa's Life time guarantee.//// Not one penny out of my pocket.I had the New set before they even got the old set back...I had No down time.
There was no stalling or double talk.... Corsa is Number One...
