It is kindof tuff. I removed the coil pacs and the altinator. Then you need to have the car at least 24" off the ground. Then push it in from the bottom. The header will run in to a little tab on the block, i have heard of people trimming this off but it is not nessessary, i did it, you just need to hit the exact angle and puch hard. Dont worry you wont damage the header they are very stout.
I didn't loosen the motor mount, just jacked up motor 1/2", with 2x4 under bell housing. Found this idea in LS1HOWTO.com. Drivers side was easy on my install using this tip. Passenger side was more difficult because I had to pry the Air Condt. line out of the way, would have been easier with help.
Good Luck!
i've done 3 dynatech installs and never needed to jack the motor, if it takes longer than 2 minutes to get the header in place send me a pm; i saw the tab off the block for the f-bodies, didn't need to on the c5's; also remove the ground strap and the wiring around the oil temp/pressure sending units, it's all in the aoa(angle of attack)
cool, thanks guys, i will tackle this again in the morning. If i have any more problems, i will let you know.... again thanks for the responses and suggestions....

Thanks for your help guys, squeezed em through the bottom by raising the car super high, but it worked. Wish I would have done that earlier. Oh well, now I know. Thanks for the help and suggestions
