Temperature Calibration
This morning, after overnight in the garage, I got the following readings:
coolant temp: 90
oil temp:88
ambient, as measured on an electronic thermometer:81
Later, as the day warmed,coolant:93
oil:90
ambient:83
It appears that my dash displays about 10 degrees above actual. Anyone else checked theirs? Or are the sensors just off in the low end.
I run about 198 on the highway and 203-205 in traffic, 90 ambient and air on, according to the dash. Am I really running 10 degrees cooler?
