Center Caps - Secret to Avoid Yellowing?
I'm getting ready to buy my third set since these things just keep turning yellow vs my painted Y2K's.
Is there a way to avoid/remedy this outside of buying different wheels?

I have a feeling I might just drive harder than most of you guys and the yellowing is heat related.

My center caps are yellowed and I suspect the heat as well. I forgot to remove mine at a HPDE and while I didn't notice any yellowing at the time due to all the brake dust, I've heard the heat can melt or discolor any of the plastic bits on wheels for any car. I also run z06 brake pads. I see a lot of other C5's without the problem so I'm thinking it must be the heat and/or extra brake dust.
Haven't tried any special cleaners yet. What I really want is some z06 center caps to go along with some z06 wheels

Replace them with the chromed version sold at Nates Garage. They don't change colors even at HPDE......

Yeah, I definitely should have pulled them for the track. I run Z06 pads pretty hard on the street and Carbotechs at the track. I sure with they made a metal version for the painted rims.
